Dr. Amina Nomtondo OUEDRAOGO epouse ZOUNGRANA is a lecturer and research professional in dermatology-venereology at Joseph Ki-Zerbo University and dermatologist at the Yalgado Ouédraogo teaching hospital in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. Before this position, she worked respectively in the national program for the control of Neglected Tropical Diseases (PN MTN) in Burkina Faso, and she was also the health program manager for Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO) and served as a consultant for the Hélite public health agency in Dakar. She was the founding president of the Burkina Faso College of Health Economics (CoBES) in 2010 and its current past-president.
She holds a Ph.D. in Medicine, a Specialty Certificate in Dermatology-Venereology, a Masters in Health Economics (CESAG), a Masters in Management in Health Programs (CESAG) and a university degree in allergology (Paul Sabatier University in Toulouse, France). She has ten years of experience in dermatology-venereology and cost evaluation. She is a member of the technical committee for the vigilance of medical installations, in vitro diagnostic devices and labile blood products; And also member of the expert committee in charge of evaluating applications for approval of herbal medicines, medicines from the traditional pharmacopoeia, nutritional supplements and other special foodstuffs, cosmetic plants and personal hygiene. She is the author and co-author of about fifty scientific articles.
