VISA INFORMATION FOR 2019 AFHEA SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE, ACCRA-GHANA 11-14 MARCH, 2019

Dear all,

As you prepare for the 5th AfHEA biennial conference slated for 11-14 March, 2019 in Accra-Ghana, we wish to provide you with visa information to facilitate your travel arrangement as early as possible.

  1. Visa-exempt foreign nationals (max 90 days)

Nationals from the following countries, traveling to Ghana, are Visa-exempt:

Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Ivory Coast, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Liberia, Mali, Mauritius (60 days), Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Swaziland, Togo, Trinidad and Tobago (60 days), Lesotho, Malawi, Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda and Zimbabwe.

  1. Visa on arrival

Citizens of the African Union (except Morocco) member states that are not visa exempt can obtain a 30 days maximum visa for Ghana upon arrival for fee US$150. This fee could be reduced to US$75 contingent upon early conference registration and prior arrangement.

All those who require visas may contact the AfHEA secretariat for invitation and visa support letters to facilitate their visa application. We advise that you send your request for visa support letters to AfHEA as early as possible via the following email address: afhea2019sc@afhea.org and copy afhea08@gmail.com . INFORMATIONS SUR l’OBTENTION D’UN VISA POUR LA CONFÉRENCE SCIENTIFIQUE D’AFHEA 2019 QUI SE TIENDRA A ACCRA, AU GHANA, DU 11 AU 14 MARS 2019

Chers Tous,

Alors que vous vous préparez pour la 5ème Conférence Biennale d’AfHEA prévue du 11 au 14 Mars 2019 à Accra au Ghana, nous souhaitons vous fournir des informations sur l’obtention des visas afin de faciliter votre voyage dans les meilleurs délais.

  1. Sont exemptés de visa (séjours jusqu’à 90 jours maximum)

 Les ressortissants des pays suivants sont exemptés de l’obligation du visa Ghanéen pour des séjours jusqu’à 90 jours maximum: Bénin, Burkina Faso, Cap Vert, Côte d’Ivoire, Gambie, Guinée, Guinée-Bissau, Kenya, Liberia, Mali, Maurice (60 jours), Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sénégal, Sierra Leone, Singapour, Swaziland, Togo, Trinidad et Tobago (60 jours), Lesotho, Malawi, Namibie, Afrique du Sud, Tanzanie, Ouganda et Zimbabwe.

  1. Visa à l’arrivée

Les citoyens des États membres de l’Union Africaine (à l’exception du Maroc) auxquels le régime d’exemption du visa Ghanéen ne s’applique pas, peuvent obtenir un visa de 30 jours maximum à leur arrivée à l’aéroport d’Accra, moyennant 150 dollars. Ces frais pourraient être réduits à 75 dollars sous réserve d’une inscription anticipée à la conférence et d’un protocole d’entente préalable.

Tous ceux qui ont besoin d’effectuer une demande de visa peuvent contacter le secrétariat d’AfHEA afin d’obtenir des lettres d’invitation pour une demande de visa pour faciliter l’obtention d’un visa pour le voyage.
